Love Comes First is a multimedia non-profit using short-form documentaries, photo essays and expert interviews to bring awareness to LBGTQ families through inspiration and education.

We are currently focused on two projects: Creating Families and This Is Who We Are.

Creating Families explores and documents new possibilities for family building across the LGTBQ spectrum—from adoption to surrogacy and from the Midwest to NYC.

This Is Who We Are delves into ongoing issues of social and economic inequality among LGBTQ families despite advances in legal equality.
